Purpose
To provide university students with opportunities for company internships that offer professional skills and practical experience, thereby expanding their employment opportunities and helping companies secure excellent talent.
Target
- Participating Universities: National, public, and private universities, both four-year and specialized, that can offer internships. - Participating Companies: Companies with 10 or more full-time employees that wish to offer university internships. * Must not meet any exclusion criteria such as legal violations. - Participants: Third and fourth-year students, graduating students (or those with deferred graduation). * For students from universities outside Gyeonggi-do, they must be registered residents of Gyeonggi-do as of the recruitment posting date. * For 2-3 year colleges: Second-year students in two-year programs, and second and third-year students in three-year programs, including graduating students (or those with deferred graduation). * Excluded: Students on leave, industry employees, participants in the central government, other local governments, or Gyeonggi-do internship programs (only if they have participated for more than 2 months).
Details
1) Participating Universities - Student Management Allowance: KRW 150,000 per month per intern for matching and managing interns. 2) Participating Companies - Company Operation Support Fund: Up to KRW 1.5 million per month per intern. - Mentoring Allowance: KRW 100,000 per month per intern. 3) Participants - Salary: Minimum wage (KRW 2,060,740/month as of 2024) or higher. - Internship Completion Allowance: KRW 500,000 per person upon completion of the internship. - Employment Success Incentive: KRW 500,000 per person upon employment with the internship company. - Training Provided: Job training (document preparation, workplace etiquette, etc.) with a reimbursement of KRW 30,000 for offline participants.
Period
Annually, around February – January of the following year (subject to change based on annual project plans).
